Annual Sustainability Lecture with alumnus, explorer and voice for global sustainability Jason Lewis

Thursday 7 June, 6.15pm

By Development and Alumni Relations Team

We are delighted to be welcoming Royal Holloway alumnus, high profile explorer, award winning author and voice for global sustainability, Jason Lewis, for this year’s Sustainability Lecture on 7 June in conversation with the Centre for Research Into Sustainability (CRIS) director Giana Eckhardt.

Jason is the first person on earth to circumnavigate the earth by human power, among many other records he holds, and will regale us with tales and photos of his adventures. Jason is passionate about environmental stewardship, and he will discuss the sustainability initiatives he is involved with, such as his advocacy to reduce plastic waste, and his upcoming series of expeditions to indigenous sustainable communities beginning in December 2018.

All welcome and admission is free but pre-booking is essential on Eventbrite.  The lecture will be followed by a reception in the Windsor Building foyer.
