About our alumni community
Royal Holloway and Bedford New College’s alumni community is a worldwide network of over 80,000 alumni in 164 different countries, many of whom continue to be proactively involved in the life of the College after graduation.
The community is a resource available to all with a connection to the College including graduates and former/retired staff. Being part of the community is free of charge and offers access to many services and benefits. For alumni of Bedford College, we also have the Bedford Society.
As members of our alumni community, you are always welcome to attend events on campus and to come back and visit the College. Whatever your interests or passion, there is something to suit all tastes.
For those thinking about their careers, professional networking events will be organised in 2016. The article entitled Use your Alumni Network explains how to maximise the most of the Royal Holloway LinkedIn alumni network online. With over 39,000 alumni on LinkedIn, and an easy search function, the opportunities are endless!
Over the last year, members of our alumni community have held events both in the UK and overseas in Singapore, Hong Kong, Toronto, China and Washington DC. These social gatherings are a way to meet other local alumni, learn, network and relive old memories. In the article entitled Inspiring our students to succeed, you can read about some of the innovative new partnerships being forged between the College and alumni. These are exciting times, as we seek to develop and strengthen our alumni community both within the UK and across the world and we would be delighted to hear from willing volunteers.
